T.A.S.T.E. is located in the Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill and surrounding communities of North Carolina.

We are dedicated to teaching students how to master the Violin, Viola, and/or Cello. Suzuki music lessons are taught internationally following the philosophy of Shinichi Suzuki (1898-1998). Begun in post-war Japan, this is the “mother tongue” method of teaching. Basics for studying require:

  1. Daily listening to the Suzuki repertoire,
  2. Weekly individual lessons, and
  3. Bi-weekly attendance of group lessons.

Our T.A.S.T.E. program offers monthly solo recitals, spring solo recitals to show yearly progress and polished performances, a fall group play-in, holiday group concerts, a graduation concert and numerous community outreach performances. Although we have produced many top-notch professional musicians, our goal is to produce successful students who love and enjoy sharing their music — making our world a brighter, happier place.
