In the spirit of Suzuki, we should know, support and encourage all Suzuki teachers and students in our local community. How better to do this than to hold a play-in which will encourage our Suzuki community (all ages) by making beautiful music and showing others respect and love — valuable traits to pass on to the next generation.

Alex is 10 years old now, and has been playing the cello since he was 2 1/2. This past summer he participated in the Philharmonic Association’s Triangle Youth String Orchestra Summer Session. I asked Alex a series of questions about this experience.
